Extended Activities & Group Learning Experiences
EAGLE classes are split into groups and categorized in two parts : Choice I consists of all Life Skill courses such as Toy making, Agriculture, Pot painting, Gardening, Story Telling & Vermi Composting.
Choice II consists of Dance, Music (Keyboard), Karate & Sports.
The activities other than above is also organized viz., extra sports, computer , science and art classes which focuses on intercultural awareness.
PERSONAL, SOCIAL, & MORAL EDUCATION
PSME aims at helping the children to acquire tools to debate morals and ethics nationally hence preparing for adult life. It will help one to develop moral awareness, understand school and community life and to arrive at personal decisions. This class may include areas such as Health, Careers, Environment, study skills, friendships, drugs , much , much more.
VERMI COMPOSTING
Students are given an introduction on Vermi Composting every year during July in order to procure manure from the wastes. Students maintain themselves the composting yard located closer to the Cafe's wash area. The manure collected will be utilized in our garden and Agricultural area.
INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
Information & Communication Technology termed as I.C.T. is utilized in various ways to teach students using technology at various levels in varied subjects. As an advantage , the Interactive White Boards (IWB) are being utilized by the teachers towards educating the children and to have Video Conference (V.C.).
DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
Design & Technology termed as D&T is a methodology used to introduce various activities to the student community with relation to designing techniques (For ex., a project on Furniture Designing , Scarf Designing (Printing technique), Recycling materials are being introduced at different levels at varied pace to suit the learners. This is a new concept of teaching that has begun in the school blended within our curriculum.
